Apple will delay the shipment of the iPhone 15 Pro Max until October.

Apple is likely to release the iPhone 15 series in September, with the Pro Max model becoming the first smartphone to include a periscope camera. This function, according to one analyst, may now cause a delay because Sony is apparently unable to deliver adequate sensor time.

According to 9to5Mac, who cited a "major equity analyst note," the disruption is expected to delay iPhone 15 Pro Max deliveries by four weeks.

The Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to be announced on September 13, with pre-orders opening on September 15 and deliveries beginning seven days later. However, due to the anticipated three to four-week delay, Pro Max deliveries may be pushed between October 6 and October 13.

Apple is no stranger to production delays; the iPhone XR arrived later than the XS series due to late component shipments to Pegatron. The iPhone 12 small and iPhone 12 Pro Max were forced to make way for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro two years later.

According to sources, screen supplies were behind schedule because OLED manufacturers LG and BOE were unable to meet demand, forcing Apple to raise demand from Samsung. We haven't heard anything in the last few weeks, implying that Cupertino has resolved the issue.
